1st photo - Marigold in a pot on our deck.
2nd photo -I used the VM Natural plug-in. Set on the Splash effect. Then I used the Texturizer plug-in. Set on 'Sandstone’ to give the photo a bit of a rough texture.
1st photo - Maximilian bush in our yard.
2nd photo – For the life of me I can’t remember what plug-in I used to create the effect on this one. I know it’s a ‘Glass’ effect of some sort. I made the mistake of not writing it down before creating this post. It’s neat looking though huh?
1st photo – Rose of Sharon flower from our Rose of Sharon bush. Which was given to me by my sister several years ago. The bush bloomed beautifully this year. :)
2nd photo – This was made with one of my newest plug-ins. The plug-in is called Virtual Photographer and I used the ‘Shoebox’ effect. I’m really liking the effects this plug-in creates.

I remember playing with these plugins when I first got into photography. Always loved the dozens of effects you could come up with. It's good to know they're still available for download and still free! Looking good Jo!
ReplyDeleteKimmy, Virtual Photographer is new to me but I really like it! I'd be interested in knowing a few of your (present or past) favorite plug-ins. I'm wondering what all else I've missed out on! lol.
ReplyDeleteI would love to be able to play with that "PhotoTools 2.5" but as you already know - I don't have the video card to do so. I hope to fix that soon though. ;)
Amazing Jodi. Both you and Kimmy know so much about this. I may have to try it this winter when its so cold I cant go outside.
ReplyDeleteLovely
Nice effects Jodi. I'm afraid to start learning this stuff. I already spend too much time on the 'puter and know I'd have a great time with all the cool tools out there. And ditto what Lisa said. It's so true about you two.
ReplyDeleteHey Jodi! I see you got the Labels working. I'm sure you know each time you use one, the word will get larger. Also, I like the Flickr slideshow. I may have to try that one. I'm not crazy about the one I'm using now. Your whole blog looks really nice. Good job.
ReplyDeleteI love the second one most it reminds me of looking thru those sqaure glass blocks. I too wish I had more time to play around.
